A TTX is super toxic to humans. That's why you should only eat pufferfish if it's prepared by someone who knows what they're doing. And personally, I would probably think twice even then. Not only are pufferfish immune to TTX, they've made the deadly poison useful. Males seem to track it to find eggs to fertilize. And a mother pufferfish pass it on to their larva for protection. And scientists have found that young pufferfish are less aggressive when they're raised on a diet with TTX compared to those that don't get it. So the more toxic they are, the more chill they are.
